Costumed characters to enrich the history curriculum

for Key Stages 1&2

Engaging encounters with people from the past

I am a Devon based historian turned storyteller with over twenty-five years experience of delivering highly-regarded character-led history workshops to schools within the West Country.

My aim is to transport children to another period in history and enable them to live events through the eyes of those who witnessed them.

My workshops engage children's emotions, help develop listening and enquiry skills and provide ample inspirational material for subsequent follow-up work.

I have DBS and membership of Equity which provides Public Liability cover.

'The kids and staff thought you were brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed your visit. We learnt so much. We'll definitely book you again.'

'The children cannot stop talking about the various characters that you performed and your visit has already begun to produce some very high quality work.'
